My family and I stayed in the upper floor suite over the July 4th holiday. The cottage was very nicely furnished and arranged. We sat outside and listened to the birds in the morning while drinking coffee. We loved it. We really enjoyed the lake. I was amazed the water was so clear. I work for a roofing contracting company. Our work crew had work in the area but had to drive for 3/4 hour to get to the job site from the hotel. Staying at the Cottages at Briar Creek was great. We saved driving time and gas. The newly acquired time was spent relaxing and barbecuing. We rented a boat and stayed over the weekend too. Thanks very much.

My family stayed in a cottage unit during the Kentucky Derby. All the hotels and motels in Louisville were already booked so we called and made an easy and convenient reservation. I enjoyed the country side and the drive to the Derby was not bad. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The cottage location was great for us as our family visited Mammoth Cave, touring the Frozen Niagara, and hiked the surrounding hills! Our kids enjoyed the afternoons swimming at the park.
